Buying a sauna from us

Home saunas are bulky. Ice baths are heavy. This page is the practical version of the product page, so you are not surprised on delivery day.

What kerbside delivery actually means

For sauna cabins and wooden ice-bath tubs, the carrier brings the package to the kerb (or the nearest safe point the lorry can reach). They will not carry it through the house, up stairs, or into the garden. You need two people to move it from there. Inflatables and chiller boxes are different: those typically come to the doorstep, and you carry them the last few metres. Each product page states which of those applies.

UK delivery is free on orders over £500. Below that it is £39.95. We start handling an order the same working day if you pay before 14:00. Most orders arrive in 3–6 working days. Detail: shipping policy.

The two-person requirement

Cabins arrive as click-together panels. Two adults can usually have one standing in 15–60 minutes. Wooden tubs are a two-person lift into the garden. If you cannot arrange a second pair of hands, add professional assembly at checkout on kerbside products — it is not included in the cabin price.

When you need an electrician

Smaller infrared cabins often use a UK 13A plug on a dedicated circuit. Do not share that socket with other high-load appliances. Larger cabins and traditional / hybrid heaters are often hardwired on a dedicated circuit by a qualified electrician — not a 13A plug. The product page says which of those the SKU is. We do not send an electrician; you book one locally if the spec says hardwired.

What professional assembly includes

On kerbside cabins and wooden tubs you can add Professional assembly for £129.00. A local installer unpacks, assembles and positions it for you — no need to find two people or lift it yourself. It does not include electrical hardwiring, building work, or moving the unit to a different property after delivery. Inflatables and chiller boxes do not offer this add-on — they already go to the door.

Warranty claims

The manufacturer named on the product page supplies the warranty. Email contact@saltwick.shop with your Stripe order reference and the SKU. We raise the claim. Length varies by brand — it is on the product page, not a single number for the whole shop.
